Bent drilling pipes are common in the drilling industry, and HAH is equipped to handle the straightening of any drill pipe, heavyweight drill pipe, drill collar, and Kelly.
Straightening is typically performed during inspection to allow for possible machine shop work on connections. Extreme bends are addressed before inspection. Individual tubulars are placed in a hydraulic press to carefully and accurately correct the tubing while maintaining its integrity.
Pipe sizes range from 2 3/8” to 10.0” OD.
